My Vision
I founded the Step Ahead Development Program to encourage young athletes to go after their dreams with everything they have. I am here to help inform about the college process, teach what it takes to play at the collegiate level, and ultimately, help find a school that will be a good fit for you.
ABOUT ME
My name is Michael Stone, and I grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. I played college soccer at Amherst College, Boston University, and the University of Connecticut. Through my uncharacteristic journey in college soccer, I learned what it means to truly work hard for something, to advocate for myself in the face of adversity, and to always believe in myself, even if I am the only one. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in English and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities.
I started this program to help others understand that the path to success is almost never linear. Life has a funny way of pushing us, throwing obstacles and challenges between us and our dreams. Overcoming them is what it's all about, and I am here to help in any way that I can!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and watching movies. My favorite athlete is LeBron James, and my favorite book The Alchemist. Click below to read more!

Year 4: Boston University (DI). COVID shortened the season to four games. I played in two and was injured for two.
